Meet the crew
Annabel Wilson
Annabel is an English and Drama teacher, with a love of images, words, mountains and oceans. She is a keen skier, and is always looking for new ideas and ways of expression. Having created and published a gig guide in Wanaka for 2 years, she wanted to make a journal that was relevant to all New Zealanders, which could place significant dates in New Zealand's history, alongside contemporary work from people with a love of the arts, the environment and Aotearoa.
Freda Wells
Freda was coaxed up various mountain ranges with the whanau from an early age, and has fond memories of catching a free ride on the back of her dad's old plank windsurfer many a summer, both leading to a love of the outdoors & ocean. At uni she developed her interest in social psychology, and has plans to study environmental science. Freda is passionate about living with responsibility towards ecology and people, so that future generations will have the opportunity to do so too, and sees her graphic design / research for Kiwi diary as a good start!
Toni Vink
A hopeful writer and high school teacher, Toni has spent years abroad only to be pulled home by what she loves most - Aotearoa. Hailing from Tokoroa she digs green pastures, deep fried pies and starry, starry skies.
